Many families want a funeral service to commemorate a loved one who has died.
A simple funeral allows you to have a full service at the crematorium as you would with a traditional funeral. The difference is that there is no funeral director, hearse or limousine. These impersonal elements of a funeral are what tends to make them expensive.
We transport the deceased directly to the crematorium in a specialist vehicle prior to the service taking place. Your loved one will be resting in the chapel ready for your arrival so that you can focus on the important part, the ceremony.

Additional costs you may need or wish to add
Doctors' Fees £82
A fee is charged by a doctor to provide the medical cause of death certificate unless a post mortem is required. This is usually completed by the GP of the deceased. We will charge you this fee if applicable and deal with the doctors’ surgery on your behalf.
Urgent Collection £250
If the collection is from a location without a suitable mortuary facility. For example a personal residence, care home and some hospices.
Minister or Celebrant £200 to £300
You or someone you know is more than welcome to lead and plan the ceremony. We have guides to help you do this. However, you may wish to have a minister or celebrant involved to lead and structure the ceremony for you. We can help you find one.
Extra Crematorium Fees P.O.A.
Our service includes a generous £750 allowance towards a cremation and service at a crematorium of your choice - subject to their approval. Some crematoriums charge more than this or you may prefer a weekend service at an extra cost.
Hearse Procession P.O.A.
To keep the cost down, we transfer the coffin into the chapel 10 minutes before the service starts via private ambulance. If you would prefer your loved one to be transferred to the crematorium chapel in a hearse, we can arrange for this at an extra cost.
